Medical-Legal Exhibits
Dynamic and persuasive exhibits for the courtroom

Nelson Studios specializes in case-specific demonstrative evidence designed to enhance expert testimony. Consultation services include review of all pertinent medical records and a written proposal presenting the critical issues in your case. During the 12 years Diane Nelson headed Biomedia, it created courtroom exhibits such as medical illustrations, animations and models for over a thousand cases.

After a proposal and cost estimate is approved, preliminary sketches are completed for review by medical experts. These sketches are revised as requested and full-color 8 X 10 images are produced for deposition and pre-trial activities. If the case proceeds to trial, the exhibits are enlarged to 30" X 40" and mounted on rigid boards.

"Without this exhibit, we would have been unable to adequately present our case".

medical-legal illustration of alveoli A microscopic view of the gas exchange between the alveoli, (the smallest unit of the respiratory system) and the blood stream. The image demonstrates the physiology of smoke inhalation in a wrongful death case.

medical-legal illustration of bony spurs Demonstration of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. The close-up view shows the resulting bony spurs impinging on the nerve roots causing chronic pain.
